Scholarship Information

 

Budweiser Conservation Scholarship Program This highly competitive scholarship program supports and promotes innovative research or study that seeks to respond to today's most pressing issues in fish, wildlife, and plant conservation.  Ten scholarships of up to $10,000  each will be awarded to cover students' expenses for tuition, fees, books, room and board, and other direct expenses related to their studies.  Students must be U.S. citizens enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education in the United States pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in environmental science, natural resource management, biology, public policy, geography, political science or related disciplines.  Recipients are eligible for one year of scholarship support.  Application deadline in January 17, 2003
USDA/1890 National Scholars Program The National Scholars Program is a major effort of the United States Department of Agriculture and the seventeen 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Institutions, to award scholarships to students to attend one of the seventeen universities and study agriculture, food, or natural resource sciences.  Application deadline is January 15 of each calendar year.
Virginia Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) Educational Foundation Scholarships The purpose of this scholarship is to promote the education of Virginia citizens in technical fields with natural resources conservation and environmental protection.  Click here for scholarship application.
